CRIMSON CAVALCADE OF BANDS

The Crimson Cavalcade of Bands is an exciting event sponsored by The University of Alabama "Million Dollar Band" and provides high school marching bands the opportunity to perform for other area high school bands in a supportive and friendly environment. This unique event allows each band to sit in the audience and watch the other bands in attendance perform their halftime production, while a panel of highly trained music educators provides comments and feedback for each group. This is a fantastic performance opportunity high school bands!

We are pleased to announce that the University of Alabama Bands will be hosting the 14th Annual Crimson Cavalcade of Bands on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The event will be held at the Pelham High School Stadium in Pelham, AL. The Crimson Cavalcade of Bands is a NON-COMPETITIVE exhibition organized and hosted by the University of Alabama Bands to showcase the outstanding high school bands in our area. The purpose of this event is to provide an outlet for these bands to share fine performances with other regional ensembles, and to receive constructive comments from qualified professional music educators.

Your band will not only have the opportunity to perform in exhibition, but also to watch and learn from many other ensembles. At the conclusion of the high school performances, The University of Alabama Million Dollar Band will perform. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity whether you intend to attend marching competitions or festivals later in the fall or just entertain your fans at your football games.
